Privacy policy

The short version

We collect three things, and only when you choose to give them: your name, your email address and your WhatsApp number. We use them to send you course and batch information. We do not sell them, we do not share them for advertising, and we do not add you to anything you did not ask for.

What we collect, and when

• When you unlock the free class: your name, email address and WhatsApp number.
• When you fill in a course sign-up form on this site: your name, email address, WhatsApp number, and your answers about your background and how you heard about us. Those forms are Google Forms, and the answers go to our Google account.
• When you message us on WhatsApp or by email: whatever you choose to tell us, and your phone number or email address as part of that conversation.
• When you enrol: the information needed to confirm your place, plus any documents you send us in support of an installment plan or scholarship application.

We do not ask for a date of birth, an address, an ID number or payment card details anywhere on this website. There is no checkout here.

Why we collect it

• To send you the class you asked for, and to tell you when the next batch opens.
• To answer your questions and, if you enrol, to run the course you paid for.
• To assess installment and scholarship applications, where you have applied.

That is the whole list. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not do anything with your details that you would be surprised by.

Who else sees it

The free class form is handled by a third-party form service, because the site itself is a set of static files with no server of its own. That service receives what you submit and forwards it to us by email. It does not use your details for its own purposes.

Course sign-up forms are Google Forms, shown inside the page. Because the form is served by Google, opening a course page that contains one means your browser talks to Google, and Google may set its own cookies and collect usage data under its privacy policy. Your answers go to our Google account and are read by us.

If you play an embedded video hosted on YouTube, YouTube may set cookies and collect usage data under its own privacy policy. We use the privacy-preserving embed and nothing from YouTube loads until you press play.

Otherwise, nobody. We do not sell, rent or trade your details, and we do not pass them to advertisers.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Google Forms and YouTube set their own when you load a page containing an embedded form, or press play on a video; we have no control over those and no access to them.

We store one small flag in your browser, so that once you have unlocked the free class you are not asked for your details again. It contains no personal information and never leaves your device. Clearing your browser storage removes it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while we are still in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back. Student records are kept for as long as we run the course you enrolled in, and afterwards so we can verify your certificate if an employer asks.

If you would rather we deleted your details, ask and we will.

Your choices

• Ask us what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your details, and we will, unless we are required to keep them.
• Tell us to stop contacting you, and we will stop.

Children

Our courses are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will update this page if what we do changes, and change the date at the top. F.L.O.W. is based in Askari 11, Lahore, and courses are delivered online across Pakistan.
